Solution 1: Rename DAT and DDF Files

  • First, close the company files on all systems.

  • Search the company directory and change the name from DAT to OldUserPRef.DAT.

  • Remove every file with a DDF extension.

  • Now, you have to open the company and confirm the payment to save it from the same directory.

  • Finally, you have to print it by clicking print.

Solution 2: Close Tablet PC Input Services

  • Press Windows R, type MSC and choose OK.

  • Double-click Tablet PC Input Service.

  • Now, choose the Stop service option.

  • Again, double-tap on the tablet input service and choose Properties.

  • Now, you have to disable the startup type and press OK.

  • Restart QuickBooks.

Solution 3: Block Program in Task Manager

  • First, operate the task manager.

  • Now, highlight programs starting with .qb

  • At the bottom of the page, select End Task.

  • Block the task manager.

Solution 4: Stop the QBW32.exe Process

  • Click right on the Windows taskbar.

  • Choose the Start Task Manager.

  • Now, choose the Process tab.

  • Click on the image name so that it is filtered alphabetically.

  • Search and select EXE.

  • Click End Process.

Solution 5: Download the QuickBooks install tool

  • Download Install QuickBooks Diagnostic Tool.

  • Install the file on the desktop.

  • Closing every program before the run

  • Once the program is complete, restart your system.

Solution 6: Download clean install tool

  • Download the QuickBooks Clean Install Tool.

  • Save it on the desktop.

  • Now, install Open QuickBooks Clean Utility.

  • Click I accept all license agreements.

  • Choose your QuickBooks version 

  • Press continue.

  • Now, click on OK.

Solution 7: Uninstall QuickBooks Desktop

  • Choose Windows R and open the run command.

  • Find the control panel and press OK.

  • Choose Programs and Features.

  • Choose Uninstall a Program.

  • Now, click QuickBooks from the list of programs to uninstall.

  • Finally, you will have to go through the on-screen instructions to finish this process.
